The little 6 seater plane took off from Wewak early in the morning and we skirted along the coast for a bit until I got a glimpse of the winding Sepik river. The plane had large windows so I had a great vantage point to see everything unlike a normal porthole in a commercial flight. We stayed pretty low at first no more than a couple hundred meters above the ground as it slowly rose as we headed ... read more
