I flew into Wewak in the morning. Wewak is the basepoint for the famous Sepik River and its tributaries. I never got to go to them though because of lost time and because of the extravagant costs. The airport is right off the ocean a bit out of town. I started to walk towards the town, and then shortly after a pickup pulled over from PNG Power company and the man gave me a ride into town to th ... read more
