Major march in "Tiergarten", a huge park near the Brandenburg Gate. Tons of red socialist propaganda, wursts and a cheesy Elton John impersonator singing classic American rock covers for the German revolutionaries.
There was a major speech during the demonstration that I couldn't understand, but felt the power.

Arrived in Berlin pretty late, tired and without any knowledge of German, hoping that my long lost neighbor/childhood PLAYMATE, fellow Fox Chapel alumni and co-explorer Tyler Mossman could help me out (having studied in Austria and traveled the previous months in Eastern and Central Europe).
