This was to be our final day heading east, although I cannot confirm that we knew that when we started. Indeed we didn't know exactly where we were heading at all, but that made for most of the fun. We set off from Kirkjubaejarklaustur very early so we could spend the day looking for a spot to trek around. We'd definitely caught the trekking bug from the previous day's journey at Skoga ... read more
