and then it was back home for an afternoon snack.
this CAKE was so good, with a normal cake base, pear slices on top, then big thick Chocolate mousse section, iced with some sort of white chocolate/lime flavoured concoction, and spinkled with some little caramelised coffee coated nut thingis and Rum flavoured jelly cubes... I just couldn't get over it. Best birthday cake since this time last year, without a doubt.

so I'm finally up to date with my entries again, I've had a very relaxing last week and a half between Barcelona, and Silvias weekend house up in the beautiful Cadaquez, and now I'm off to France to visit Olivier for a week or so. Silvia and her Family and Dani have all looked after me so well, especially in the food department ;) so it's going to suck having to say goodbye to them tonight and get ... read more
