We left Liz's place at 4 AM for Heathrow airport by taxi. The journey took around 30min. Taxi was the only option at that hour of the morning (the train left at 230AM!). We joined the cue for checkin and this took around 2.5 hours because we had to wait for the Alitalia staff to open the checkin and then get to other flights checked before ours. We made the flight at 6:30 and arrived in Roma 3hrs ... read more

Moira and I will be on a honeymoon/adventure of a lifetime. We will spend 2 months in North America, one month in the UK and finally 3 months in Europe. Highlights (hopefully!)will include a week in St.Petersburg checking out the glories of the Hermitage and a week in Perugia, Umbria listening to beautiful music making from Angela Hewitt & friends. Some quality time will be spent in Prague and Vienna. I just can't wait!!... full info
