Later I spent ten minutes looking at old pictures of the Hongqi, back in its day to see if the number plates matched. If I had found a picture of Chairman Mao being carried in this particular car I would have imported it back the UK, restored it and sold it back to a rich Chinese person. Probably.

Hello everyone! Right, straight down to business. Do I hate China? This is a question I find myself asking over and over again. And the predictably complicated answer is, I really don’t know.
