Driving to Denver was delightful to my eyes. It seemed like it had been forever since we saw color in the landscape and I was basically ecstatic just to see grass! The red rock mountains of New Mexico turned into green snow capped ones of Colorado and I felt like I was looking at Coors Beer bottle label.
