Madrid, the capital city of Spain caught my attention when I read from Haagsche Courant newspaper on May 2010 that the city celebrates San Isidro Festival yearly from May 11-15 in honor of the patron saint San Isidro and his wife Sta. Maria dela Caveza. Sariaya, a small town where I grew up in the Philippiness also celebrates San Isidro as patron saint on May 15. I became very curious and sugges ... read more
