Fine day and warmer. After a late breakfast and a good deal of idling about, we went to the Cathedral. It turned out to be a Roman Catholic one and is as tawdry as most of them – the …….. is the finest thing in it. Walked about the town – some of the streets are nicely planted with trees. The Montrealites are awfully hot on churches – they pitch upon a spot and place three or four ch ... read more
