After a good night’s sleep, Mom and I woke up early when the sunrise lit up the canvas of the teepee like a giant lampshade. We both rolled over and managed to sleep in till 7am. At 7:30 we emerged, dressed and mostly awake and headed to the terrace by the farmhouse for coffee and breakfast.

Travel is a huge part of my life. If I'm not just coming back from a trip, you'll probably find me planning one. I have the travel bug for sure. Now that I have the means to travel more often, I thought an online journal would be a great way to keep in touch with family and friends (meanwhile making them wildly jealous) and would be useful in documenting my experiences for myself or anyone who may be interested in my destinations.
