October 15, 2006. It has been raining since early this morning here in Moab, Utah. The weather appears to be making up for five years of drought in just two weeks. There are Flash Flood Warnings posted for Arches, Canyonlands, and the surrounding mountains. The road to Delicate Arch is closed due to flooding and a number of campers & recreationists (whatever they are) have been evacuated due to f ... read more
