Due to being the world's foremost expert on glaciers, it has fallen to me to write this blog. I have to confess that after spending time here, I had to contemplate how to describe this wonder of the the world. In the end I have managed to condense my scientific report to two words : big ice to illustrate it's size, it is 30 times the size of Bournemouth and for those who do not kn ... read more
