Port Fairy and the NRL Grand Final

We watched the National Rugby League Grand Final Game between the Melbourne Storm and Brisbane Broncos in Port Fairy at the bar in the Star Hotel. Leanne explained the rules to us. We were the only two in the whole bar cheering for the Broncos and Leanne wondered why. I had to explain because my boss is from Brizzie that's why. She said fair enough. We almost shouted ourselves hoarse cheering for skipper Darren Lockyer and for Shane Webke. Brisbane beat Melbourne 15-8. The win was a fitting end to the career of Broncos legend Shane Webcke, who finished his 254-game career in the best possible fashion with a fourth grand final win!
