Der Besuch im Johnson Space Center in Houston hat uns ja schon neugierig auf Cape Canaveral gemacht. Dazu kommt, dass der Start der Endeavor bevorsteht (nun verlegt auf 29. April, 15:47 Uhr). Vielleicht kann man ja einen Blick auf die Raumfähre am Startplatz erhaschen? So fuhren wir also auf Merritt Island, einer der Ostküste vorgelagerten Insel, wo der ganze Komplex beheimatet ist.
