Hot water beach

The Coromandel Peninsula is the bit that juts out east of Auckland. Most of it is within about 4-5 hours driving from Auckland itself, so there are quite a few towns where Aucklanders have holiday homes etc. that are quiet except during school holidays. AfricaBound

Hi! Welcome to our travelblog page. We initally called ourselves "AfricaBound" because we spent a year traveling around Africa from August 2007 to August 2008. At that time, little did we even think that we could go on another extended trip. Somehow through much perseverance and determination we were able to save up for yet another extended trip, this time as sort of a honeymoon.
