27/07/06 Up just after 7-00 and left for Kununurra at 8-00. Went through the Western Australian Border and into town by 9-00am as clocks went back by 90 mins. Booked into Kona Lakeside Park for 2 nights in a cabin and booked a tour for tomorrow. Into town had a good look round after a coffee. Sandra and Bim/Jack
We have banked up some leave and are taking another break in Australia. We hope to avoid some of the more commercial stuff and do a bit outback. We fly into Perth to meet family. Then over to Melbourne to meet freinds. Followed by a flight to Darwin to meet up with our eldest daughter and boyfriend. The vehicle is bought and fully prepared. It has been serviced by the best Mechanic in WA at J&K Autos in Perth so there shouldn't be any problems. Toyota Landcruiser, 4.2 diesel, 4WD, long range fuel tanks, Engel fridge and all the camping gear with tent on top. It's currently being driven by Lisa... full info
