So arrival in Alexandropoulis was abrupt, me and Rach stopped at one of the many 24hr cake shops (yes wierd for a town with a pop of ~70k) managed to find a cheap hotel that would give us a half rate for the day if we were out by 3pm and caught a few extra hours sleep. We left at about 12 and i managed to catch the end of the Greece vs USA basketball game, Greece won and within seconds the streets ... read more
