New York roads are numbered in a very logical way. Avenues go north / south starting at 1 to the east. Streets go east to west starting at 1 to the south. Broadway goes from south east to north west of the city, crossing a lot of the streets and avenues. Our hotel is on 49th Street between 7th and 8th avenue. Today we took the subway to 110th Street.
