First, I have to warn you that this is a long blog entry. This covers the first month of life in Afghanistan, and the current conditions here. I’ve been here a month (as of Jan 30) and have settled into a routine. Life in the ghan is much as it was in Al Asad last year. There are some key differences, but deployment life is slow and relaxed (for medical, anyways) and I have lots of time to ... read more
