After walking through the town centre and across the bridge we hopped on a bus which took us 14kms away to the site of the Old City of Sukhothai. It's a Unesco listed World Heritage site which is the vast ruins of the original capital city of Thailand and an ancient Kingdom dating back to the 12th Century.
