Indoor Market Was Rutland's Strand Theatre

The best vestigial clue of the former life of this downtown Rutland building is the ceiling. It's unheated - all of the vendors have boots, gloves & coats on. Great produce, local gourmet and craft items (wooden ware, knitting, and beaded jewelry. Some great grazing - Korean kim chee, a French crepe maker with an amazing griddle, comfort food like chicken n biscuits & chile.
