This isn't a duplicate entry, I was so impressed with my visit to the Great Wall at Mutianyu that I wanted to go again. This time I went to Jinshanling. It's less well preserved or restored than the other sections of Wall and allegedly had better scenery. Its a bit of a trek and took us over 2.5hrs to get there. The Veil between Heaven and Earth lifted
I found this picture to be so spiritual and meaningful. It reminded me of our trek through life and the mountains that we need to climb throughout our life, and often we never get the message that was given to us. Consequently we will have to go around the mountain again and again until we receive what it was that we needed to see, feel or touch before we can move on. The Walls we put up in life are often our own walls of fear to fend off any pain in our life. This picture reminded me of all those things. I believe if you pursue your destiny and you have faith to believe that GOD is in the midst of this whole journey, you might just be invited to a place where the veil is lifted (if only for a little while) and you can sit, talk and commune with GOD for a while behind the Holy Veil. I accidently found this on line this morning as I was thinking of what lies ahead for all of us in 2011 as today is New Years Eve. But then again I do not believe in accidents, and nothing is just a coincidence. Thank you, incredible beautiful picture, and incredible strength in the beauty of the picture.
