We took a 4x4 to the black sand beach. It was the best sand ever! Powder fine and glinting black. The beach was long and just beautiful, with perfect rollers crashing in. Behind was the dirt road with coconut groves and steep jungle covered hills behind. There was a little thatched shelter on the edge of the beach where we had our picnic lunch.
