C'est après près de 11h de vol et une escale à Londres que j'arrive à Miami où je loue directement une voiture pour rejoindre les Keys, archipel d'îles au sud de Miami réputées pour la plongée. J'arrive à Tavernier où m'attend Jeff, rencontré sur couchsurfing. Il possède une maison modeste mais très bien située, avec la mer juste derrière sa maison.
