Took a 45min flight from Heraklion to Rhodes, which was very uneventful. Arriving at 11:00pm is not our first choice, but what it allowed us to do was enter the medieval town and port while it was lite up. The Old Town is the largest inhabited medieval town in Europe and is quite the sight. We stayed right in the Old Town at The Spot Hotel, (great location and very friendly owner).
