It’s not often that childhood dreams come true, but in Jordan, mine did. I remember being a child in the 1970s watching a TV program about the Dead Sea, vividly recalling footage of a man lying on his back, floating and gibbering, seemingly having the time of his life. It’s in a far away country, I remember my dad telling me sadly. You have to go there by aeroplane and that costs too ... read more
