I can't imagine that there is any other place in Brazil that totally and utterly fulfills all the Brazilian cliches as much as Salvador de Bahia does: capoeira, colonial town, samba everywhere at night, beautiful beaches close by, great fish dishes, amiable people and caipirinhas all day long.
