We left Banos and headed for the Amazon jungle! At Tena we stayed at the Shangrila Lodge, which was perched high up -giving us great views over the rainforest. Our rooms were not used in a few days and when some of the girls pulled back the sheets one found a TRANTULA SPIDER in her bed, another found a SCORPION!! The screams were so loud it would put Tarzan to shame... We trekked through the ... read more
