Culture shock definitely had me on my ass for a day or 2. Wind-kicked-outta-me culture shock. We got out of the slums, thankfully, as I could not take staying on a street full of piss, rats, infested half-dead animals, sewage, children bathing in gutter water full of said creatures, people squatting and puking, etc. Not that the rest of Mumbai is all that much different (save for the few super-ric ... read more
