July 8 - We are at the villa. Castelnau Barbarens means castle of the barbarians. The town is a village built on ancient ruins and so is the villa. http://www.castelnau-barbarens.fr/page2.html We stopped at the bakery for fresh bread and for au foie de canard for lunch at the villa. It is 98 degrees this afternoon! A heat wave in the south of France. ... read more
