Kids at Vize
I was let off at this town while hitching back to Istanbul; these kids showed me around the old churches, amphitheatre and walls. It was pure luck as I had never heard of the town. It's apparently famous for its beautiful girls and also its beatings (I have no experience of the latter). The girl in red and the boy who looks like Brad Pitt are siblings.

Hitched across rolling fields and afternoon fog through Eastern Thrace to Edirne, less than 20 miles from Bulgaria and Greece. My hitchhiking fortunes have vastly improved since my comparative inexperienced days a month ago.
