Four days on Canary Islands, more specifically on one island, Tenerife, was enough for a short vacation. It's not that I didn't like Tenerife, but rather found it different from what I expected. This is a volcanic island, and seeing beaches with black sand was interesting, until you walk into the water and it looks like you're walking in muddy water.
