Loja ist die letzte groessere Stadt am suedlichen Ende von Ecuador. Die Stadt liegt auf einer Hoehe von 2100m und ist von gruenen Huegeln umgeben. In der Naehe ist der Podocarpus Nationalpark, wo wegen starken Hoehenunterschieden von Paramolandschaft, ueber Nebelwald bis zum Regenwald alles zu sehen ist. Das Zentrum von Loja ist so klein, dass wir es problemlos zu Fuss besichtigen. Ausser einige ... read more
