Who would have thunk it? 18,000 feet Mountains just east of mexico city! I guess you can see them from Mexico City but i didn´t because of the haze. They are called Popocatepetl (Aztec name for smoking mountain), the second largest peak in Mexico, Iztaccíhuatl, meaning Sleeping Woman. They are called Popo and Izta for short and quite amazing.
