Chris's Section We left Ayuthaya by train, heading north (ultimately) to Sukhothai. We went with a guy called Ian who was in our guesthouse in Ayuthaya. He's a really nice guy. First we had to get a train to Phitsanulok, which cost us 450 baht (£9). A bit pricey we thought, even though it's a 4 hour journey, but we got a/c and tea/coffee, plus lunch included.
