At last we are on the road!! We get lost leaving Christchurch and keep seeing the pretty river. The pretty annoying river! Finally Emma negotiates the road and we are set for Hamner Springs. The road is amazing. A snow covered mountain is directly in front of us and all around us are other snow - capped mountains. It is gorgeous. We pinch ourselves. We are actually in New Zealand!!
