It is hard to imagine a more amazing wedding! When 2 function coordinators plan their own wedding, no detail is overlooked. The whole day was meticulously planned, and was the most amazing day. The weather for the last few days has been cold, raining and generally nasty, however we awoke yesterday to a perfect clear sky and warm weather for Kristy and Kelsey's big day. I was set to jet overseas Monday afternoon. With only 1 game of basketball on the Sunday before I left for 5 weeks overseas, how could anything possibly go wrong?!
It was then that Murphy's Law (and gravity) kicked in to throw everything into chaos! 5 minutes into the second quarter of the basketball game, I rolled my ankle after landing on an opponents foot, and felt something snap. This was not what i needed the day before heading to Thailand for a week of scuba diving.
