Venice is awesome!! We loved the Cinque Terre but, after 3 days, it was time to move on. We caught the train for Venice out of Monterosso and changed trains in Bologna. Total travel time was about 7 hours. After 2 1/2 weeks, we've become pretty familiar with how the European rail lines work.
