We arrived in Iquitos after dark and were immediately surprised by all the mototaxis and motorcycles! There is no way to drive into Iquitos; it is only accessible by boat or air. Cars were few and far between and the rules of the road for the motorcycles and mototaxis seemed to be "don't run into anyone" and that's about it! Here we are again, and this time we are leaving on our last big trip before trying to start a family. We have chosen Africa because of the wildlife, the exotic landscapes, and the price. This trip will be a bit different from our South America trip because we have planned a specific itinerary.
