I spent most of the day packing my things into my new 75L backpack, ready for the bus journey from Adelaide to Melbourne. I booked my ticket some weeks before Christmas and it only cost $49 for the one-way ticket. I guess it was so cheap as it was an overnight ticket - we left at 20:15 and were due to arrive the following morning at 06:45.
