I spent most of the day packing my things into my new 75L backpack, ready for the bus journey from Adelaide to Melbourne. I booked my ticket some weeks before Christmas and it only cost $49 for the one-way ticket. I guess it was so cheap as it was an overnight ticket - we left at 20:15 and were due to arrive the following morning at 06:45. Comment on Greyhound bus
Last year I decided to take some time out from the usual routine my life had become. I made an impulsive decision to fly to Australia and see what was happening there. This blog is based on the things I've seen, people I've met and the experiences I've had along the way. Doing this trip was the best decision I ever made - it opened my eyes to another way of life and I've not looked back. The plan was originally to travel for a year but I've decided to return home after spending six months in Australia. The following entries are based on my honest feelings and thoughts for this country. Enjoy!
