The Scottish National War Memorial

This was the main reason I wanted to return to the castle. I had found the memorial awe-inspiring and interesting on my previous visit. Inside, where no photos are permited, are little chapels with altars decorated with memorablia of Scotland's many famous military regiments.
Day Four - It's About Time We Went Inside That Bloody Castle

I'm sort of looking forward to getting out of Edinburgh and into the Bed and Breakfasts we booked for the remainder of the trip. It's too easy to sleep in when you're not worried about getting downstairs to breakfast before they close it up. Once again we slept in a little longer than we normally would.
