Ko Samui/bangkok craziness January 9th 2010 1/4
Had a long travel day. It was 4 hours to the border, the switched mini buses, and then another 4 hours into thailand. Just took some motion sickness pills and xanax to sleep the whole way. We are now in Nakhon Si Thammarat...it's really just a local town. They don't get many westerners out here. Went to the shadow puppet show and bought a Ganesh puppet. What can I say...I'm a little girl with a huge bag. My motto is take everything as long as you can carry it. My bag was 17 kilos but I managed to haul it onto buses, boats, ferries, trains, planes, and 4 flights of stairs. My bag is a duffle bag with wheels and is also a backpack....so handy.
My goal is to find the most gorgeous beaches with a ton of shells. I will share where I've been, eaten, wore, and most importantly what I bought.... full info
