Friday morning Regi came back to Manaus to meet me at Carlos’s place. It was good to see him again. We were about to embark on our adventure 1000 Km deep into the Amazon. We stopped for one last incredibly tasty ACAI before getting our provisions at the special store Marlos had directed me to, like soap and food, and then off we went to the port to catch our boat for Sao Gabiel.
