The Tatacoa Desert

There are fossil remains in the area making it a tourist destination also for astronomical observation. The Tatacoa covers a total area of 300 km² mostly covering the municipality of Villavieja. The Tatacoa is home to several endemic species of spiders, snakes, scorpions, lizzards, eagles among others.

Hola a todos! I will be short this time...photos will tell u more. And I am feeling lazy today... I went with a friend to Neiva to extend my visa...and from there we went to the Tatacoa desert. It was freaking hot, but increible...and we have a great time! Maybe it doens-t look like those deserts in Africa, but they still call it - a desert. Well, at least it was hot like in a desert.
