Down the coast I dropped Sam (my co-traveller) in Santa Rosa where I stayed one night in a cheap motel. The next day I drove through the famous Napa Valley (cf. the movie sideways ;) to end up at Yosemite National Park. Stuck with no gas at night in the middle of nowhere, I had to call AAA from a passing car's cell phone (there were about 2 cars an hour). They brought me gas and I drove to my host ... read more
