This city was the one time competitor of Venice. The old city is encircled by ramparts and is rather intensely fortified. These stones on the ground look wet but are just slick from the wearing down and polishing of time

Well things here are all wrapped up and I am on the plane moving home! It is hard to believe I made it through a year isn’t it?! Of course I had much support from family and friends, so thank you. Since Ireland I have been on yet another adventure of a lifetime...I am so blessed! My mom and I set off to make our way to the Balkans from Paris and had many incredible experiences along the way†... read more
