Shay here, from a hotel room in Missoula, MT. We are relaxing in relative luxury for a night before heading up to Glacier tomorrow. We have to drop the dogs off for a stay at a kennel, since they are not allowed in the park. They are not excited about it, as is evidenced by the fact that they are both pouting on the hotel room floor. I think they can smell the bath water coming, kind of like h ... read more

We're Shay and Kate, a couple of 31 year old grrls who live in Atlanta, GA and who are very much in love with each other, travel, and the great outdoors.
As of June 12th, 2006, we, our two dogs (Emma and Bela), and our Subaru (packed with all the gear it can carry) are embarking on an epic 10 week road trip around the US. We'll be camping, hiking, backpacking, exploring, and visiting with family and friends.
