Voladores de cuetzalan

The origins of the Voladores is disputed. The popular name is Voladores de Papantla but many Poblanos claim the dance originated in Cuetzalan. Unfortunately, the city of Papantla has copywritten the name for the ritual. In reality the two cities are very close, and they both use their own names anyways. This photo shows them unwinding/flying.
